Course Materials: New Urbanism

What is new urbanism?  See the overview provided by the Congress for New Urbanism.  And then check out their powerpoint presentation. 

New Urbanism emphasizes walkability--a scale that encourages pedestrians--and sustainability. 


The Charter for New Urbanism lays out the main principles of new urbanism.
